The global pandemic has dramatically increased the focus on the importance of exporting. Companies have realized that to be resilient and competitive, they need to be engaged globally. This no cost series of five one-hour webinars will discuss the most important decisions small to medium sized businesses need to make for a successful export strategy. This series is sponsored by the Illinois SBDC International Trade Center at Bradley University and is co-sponsored by: Illinois Manufacturing Excellence Center, Greater Peoria Economic Development Council & FTZ #114, DCEO/OTI, and the US Department of Commerce.
Who should attend:
-Entrepreneurs – needing insights on when their venture is ready to go global
-New-to-Exporting Companies – Utilize the steps provided to ensure your export plan is effective
-Existing Exporters – Learn new techniques to support your current exporting efforts
Take away:
-Learn the biggest mistakes companies make when developing their export strategy
-Gain insights on how to change from a reactive exporter to a proactive exporter
-Don’t have an export plan?  This series will guide you through the process of developing a great export plan you actually use!

In this last session, we discuss how to incorporate all the topics from the prior workshops to develop an export plan. Companies often skip this final step, which is a mistake. We will review why even a basic export plan will ensure critical steps are not missed. We will discuss the SBA Export Business Planner – an easy to use guide to facilitate the creation of an export plan. By the end of this session, you will know the next steps you need to take to really impact your export success.

The Duck Race is CFPA’s longest-running and signature fundraiser. Now through August 26, 35,000 ducks are up for adoption for $5 each and every duck you purchase enters you for a chance to win one of this year's 15 prizes - including the grand prize of $10,000 cash!

Last year, we raised more than $200,000 for survivors of abuse in our community and sold out of all 30,000 ducks!

All funds raised for the Duck Race stay local and help us build a safe and peaceful community. CFPA provides free and confidential services to victims of human trafficking, domestic violence, sexual abuse, sexual assault, elder abuse, and offers violence prevention education to students helping to prevent abuse before it begins in the tri-county area, reaching more than 38,000 young people each year.

Thank you for supporting our mission at CFPA. We are grateful for your friendship.

Come visit us and see what Trail Life is all about!
Adventure is at the heart of the Trail Life USA program. Boys love hiking, camping, fishing, tree-climbing, story-telling, and s'mores around campfires. Weekly meetings are designed with that in mind. Held outside whenever possible, meetings are designed to delight the raucous, rowdy, unruly nature of a boy. Young Trailmen engage in hands-on experiences that develop character, deepen faith, and hone practical skills in the seven program branches (Outdoor Skills, Life Skills, Heritage, Hobbies, Values, Science & Technology, and Sports & Fitness).
