You wouldn’t travel internationally without a passport. Nor should you travel with products and samples without a ‘passport’ for goods. Similarly, do you sometimes need to have merchandise imported into a country on a temporary basis but want to avoid the hassle of actually importing and then exporting? Attend this webinar to learn how to solve these challenges.

ATA Carnets are “Merchandise Passports.” They are internationally accepted customs documents that simplify customs procedures for the temporary importation of various types of goods. ATA Carnets ease the temporary importation of commercial samples, professional equipment, and goods for exhibitions and fairs. They facilitate international business by reducing time for customs clearance, eliminating payment of import-duty and -tax. Carnets are valid for up to 12 months and can be used an unlimited number of times into 87+ countries and territories.

Attend this no-cost webinar to learn how ATA Carnets can help your business expand into new, international markets and save money by avoiding payment of import-duty and -tax on your temporary exports and imports.

This webinar is intended for anyone involved in:
International trade logistics
International sales and marketing
Trade shows, exhibition, and missions
Advising business expanding internationally
NASBITE CGBP recertification – this webinar would count as one CGBP CEU

Attendee list will be shared with training partners.

Speaker:

Kiel Ursin is a Carnet Specialist and Customer Service & Sales Representative for boomerang carnets.  His extensive experience and expert knowledge cover carnet usage, carnet countries, as well as foreign and domestic customs services.  Kiel guides clients in all industries, from Fortune 500 companies to symphony orchestras, manufacturers to film production crews, individuals to small, medium, and large enterprises.  He is a licensed bond and insurance advisor for ATA Carnets and international travel.
Kiel has expertise in training and coaching companies on how ATA Carnets can help grow their business internationally by saving substantial expense on their temporary exports. In presentations for export organizations and industries, Kiel sheds light on the benefits of using carnets for boomerang freight, and companies learn about both the practical and dynamic growth aspects of carnet use.
Additionally, he is an authority and issuer in the U.S. and Canada of the Carnet de Passages en Douane (CPD), the “vehicle passport” for temporary admission of motor vehicles (private and commercial road motor vehicles) in countries where required. A CPD is like a passport for a vehicle to enter one or more countries temporarily without having to pay the import-duty and taxes. Kiel is originally from Lake Zurich, IL, and joined Boomerang in 2016.

Tony Pu, U.S. Commercial Service Philadelphia
“It was a pleasure to partner with Boomerang Carnets on a webinar to educate US exporters on the benefits of ATA Carnets. The participants sung praises of the event, in particular citing the knowledge and knowhow of the speaker from boomerang carnets, Kiel Ursin. The ATA Carnet is a cost-effective and time-saving resource for exporters when making temporary export shipments, so it is important for the export community to be aware of how the tool applies to their business”
