Morton classrooms of little artists (grades 2nd - 6th) are welcomed to create an art piece to decorate the windows of the Morton Chamber of Commerce to the 56th Morton Pumpkin Festival theme: Pumpkins Go 80s. Each registered class will receive a sheet of 25 x 30in paper they will be asked to decorate and submit by September 6.
Sheets of paper will be available for pick up the week of August 22, teachers will receive an email when paper is ready for pick up. You will also be given a sticker that you will write your name, grade, and school that will be placed on the front of your art piece as well.
Pictures can be in any orientation. We will be posting these in the windows of the Chamber office for those visiting the Pumpkin Store to enjoy.
Voting for a People’s Choice Award will take place beginning September 7 with money raised going back to your schools’ PTOs. Judges will also look at the images and award a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner.
