About Glass Girl
Glass Girl
My name is Molly Neuhauser, and I’m a glass artist based in Central Illinois. My journey into glassblowing began serendipitously while studying art history at Illinois State University, where I quickly became enamored with the craft. Since then, it has remained my primary creative outlet. During my studies, I served as the gallery manager, learning under the guidance of Jeremie Draper and Brandie Centi-Fislar. Over the years, I’ve worked diligently to establish my hot shop, which is now fully operational and open to visitors!
In my work, I transform molten glass into solid forms, with a focus on how color interacts with light and on feminine shapes. I love engaging with my local community by partnering with galleries, participating in festivals, and hosting pop-up shows. Soon, I’ll be offering hands-on glassblowing classes and introducing a line of ash cremain memorials. Through my craft, I aspire to share love and light with others.
